ABOUT US

Hailing from Wellington New Zealand, Inverted Citizens is an award winning production company specialising in circus-theatre. Since being founded in 2018 by three Kiwi performers, we've performed around the world but retain our passion of putting NZ-made circus on the stage.

Our vision lies in bringing circus into a multidisciplinary space, where it shares the stage with live music, theatre and comedy. We've found this is a winning recipe in creating work which brings all different kinds of people together.
